Saying I do in Kitchener

Monika & Jesse were given my name from a mutual sweet friend of ours. When Anthony and I met them they definitely felt like old friends. I dropped Anthony off with Jesse and his brother as they got ready, then I was off to meet Monika as she got ready. Back in Kitchener for the ceremony these two got to see each other for the first time. I love watching them both as they first catch each other's eyes. So cute. Then Jesse's dad actually performed the ceremony and gave the wedding talk. It was so touching for a father to send his son off like that. My own grandfather performed Anthony and I's wedding so i know how special it is to have a family member be such a huge part of your lives.
Family pictures after, then we handed our keys to Jesse's mom and she was in charge of our car and we took off in the limo...yes sweet deal there. Now the bride and groom had the munchies, it was a long day full of nerves and not eating much. So by the time the nerve wracking i do's were done, they were hungry. Maid of honour and Best man agreed we had to go to A&W. Pulling in we realized it was a good decision. Two very awesome classic cars were showing off in the parking lot. We asked, they said yes, and pictures were snapped. So cool.
Next off to Rockway gardens for some more formal, less hamburger shots. The sky had been kind of grey, kind of threatening rain. We got a few drops, but got our pictures and we were all back in the limo and heading over to the antique train station in Waterloo. Just enough time there to grab a few neat ones with the train behind  them and then off to Bingeman's. We had never been there before, so it was a nice change from the regular venues and definitely an awesome meal. We sat with family, heard great stories and laughed. Watched the married couple dance up a storm and even met a couple whose wedding we'll be shooting in November.

Monika & Jesse and their families looked after us and our car (not a scratch on it).... and we had a great time with them. It was so hard going through the hundreds of pictures we took to narrow them down.
